The Bay Model is the world's largest working model of San Francisco Bay. The fully-accessible education center administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is a huge working hydraulic model (showing the tides coming in and out) of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River

The model provides scientists, educators and visitors interested in San Francisco Bay and the Bay - Delta Model a unique opportunity to view the complete bay-delta system at a glance. We meet at the Bay Model Visitor Center, 2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA 94965. After touring the model, we walk south to Sausalito (approx 1.1 miles) for a bite and then walk back.
